Seeking to impact the local community, Boston Scientific, a leading medical device
and research company, developed an education program to mentor and support
local African American youth interested in the fields of science, technology,
engineering and mathematics. The company needed to create a compelling identity
to bring attention to the program and attract young participants without leaping too
far from the current medical and business communities.
In collaboration with the Boston Scientific leadership team, BrandCulture
strategically designed a logo and visual vocabulary system youthful and energetic
enough to appeal to the teenage audience, yet simultaneously serious enough to
reflect the ambition and importance of the program’s goals. We also extended the
creative execution into an informational brochure and presentation, signage for the
kickoff event and a new website splash page.
