Is it the colors? Is it the sizes? Or is it the layout that makes this graphic work so poorly?

Did anyone see anything besides the word ‘listless’ when scanning this for the first time?
Yes, we got the intended gist after further inspection, but don’t give us that “moment of discovery” crap. This is a communication fail, plain and simple. Unless the designer was playing a joke on whoever wrote the creative brief, in which case we say very clever…and you’re fired.

For what it’s worth, I saw it as “list for less” right off the bat. I had to read the rest of the post to figure out what problem you had with it.
